The barn has been in our family since 1934.   Mark's grandfather, Wendell Snode ran a dairy farm here and also began growing melons.   While the barn has been restored to a beautiful entertaining facility, Snode's Melons continues today with Mark's dad and mom, Gary and Sue Snode still producing the best cantaloupe and watermelon in the area.  We hope you have a wonderful experience at the barn.
